A Clear Choice at the Crossroads: Credibility Over Capital
The United States Virgin Islands are at a crossroads. We all feel it. We all love these islands immensely. But as we have seen, love alone will not reverse the deep-seated curses of corruption, mismanagement, and apathy that have held us back for generations. It is time for something different. It is time for governance we can appreciate and respect.
Look at our headquarters under construction. It is not an accident that we established our ground zero right here, at the busy and central junction of Emile Francis Memorial Drive and Weymouth Rhymer Highway. We are stationed literally at the crossroads of our territory because that is where the soul of the Virgin Islands meets its future. We did not choose a hidden, air-conditioned tower. We chose to be in the center of the community, visible and accessible, just as true public service should be.
Let’s be direct: we are not the rich campaign. You won’t see us spending millions to paper over problems that require serious, sincere work. But what we do have is something money cannot buy: credibility. We bring a long and proven record of sincere public service. We aren’t promising to serve you; we already have been serving you.
Both Positive and I promise to bring accountability and transparency to the people’s government. We promise to move beyond the rhetoric and into real, lasting change. This campaign, and this very headquarters as we continue to build it out with our own sweat and solidarity, reflects that commitment.
Our hands are extended to you on this journey. Come and take them. We are here to serve you. We have always fought for you; now fight for us. Let’s make this historic crossroads the turning point we so desperately need.
