Candidate for Governor

Adlah Foncie Donastorg is an accomplished executive and public servant who welcomes opportunities to solve problems, improve conditions, and deliver positive results for clients, constituents, and communities.

Born and raised in the United States Virgin Islands, Foncie made significant contributions as a Senator and Senate President. During his public service, he worked on projects connected to environmental planning and protection, healthcare, education, recreation, and government finances.

He built a strong reputation fighting for those unable to fight for themselves and is credited with securing income tax refunds for Virgin Islands taxpayers who had previously overpaid. He also authored important legislation establishing penalties for animal cruelty and environmental protections for clean air and water.

Positive T. A. Nelson is a veteran public servant, former educator, and longtime advocate for the people of the Virgin Islands. Known for his optimism and grassroots connection, he has dedicated his career to responsive, community-focused leadership.

Nelson served seven terms as a Senator representing St. Croix, where he became known for advancing work in agriculture, education, medical cannabis reform, economic development, public safety, and infrastructure.

His public service reflects a deep belief in investing in people, strengthening local industries, improving education, expanding opportunity, and building a more resilient future for every Virgin Islander.
